RENT Dedication: Measure Your Life in Love

I absolutely LOVE this movie musical and I would die to see it on Broadway. I had to do a lo about this movie and how it influenced as well as affected me. Im a very family oriented person and this movie truly depicts how family should be: genuine and unconditional. I would really recommend this movie to the open-minded. Not really for the kids unless you're up to explaining some things. The journaling in the red is very wordy but it reads:Im addicted, infatuated, obsessed... @ this point I'm a self professed RENTHEAD(title that enthusiatic RENT fans claim themselves to be). The first time I saw RENT (not even from the beginning), I was hooked. The movie is so inspiring if you have an open mind towards viewing it. I've been touched in a way that I've never been before by a performance. The cast members allow you to embrace them and their joint bond to one another from beginning to end. They made me feel welcome to become a part of their family for their two hour performance. Watching the movie made me embrace and appreciate how having family is such a precious blessing and gift. i experienced the lost of their loved one with them while relating personally. Each time I watch it, I'm able to feel the joy of being able to express who I truly am as a person and not being ashamed of my individualism. I can relate to the UNCERTAINTY but UNFAILING HOPE that hard work and DEDICATION pays off. I understand the gratitude @ being reunited with those loved ones that represent a security blanket. Watching RENT motivates me to want a difference and want to MAKE A DIFFERENCE. Knowing and acknowledging that we are individuals placed here to have an impact on one another drives me to question my purpose. I've learned you cant buy love or approval but by taking a stand, you can demand respect. If you live your life trying to to live up to others expectations, you'll never reach YOUR full potential. My goal: to live love into the rents I encounter b/c truly " Love Heals"
