This is my sister and my niece going over number flash cards. My sister and I have been working with her for the last couple weeks trying to teach her the basics of written, visual, and oral communication with alphabets and numbers. The daycare/"school" (I put the word school in quotations b/c I mean it to be taken lightly)has not taught her any of the things she should know as a five year old. Her parents could do better as well, I know it's not all the daycare's fault. Anyhow my sister and I took matters in our own hands. Thats what family is for right? To pick up the slack. She is so smart and has been really enjoying our "learning sessions". I had to vent...Sorry guys.
