The lo is about my niece learning how to walk alone, therefore becoming independent in her mode of transportation from place to place. I think her bib was inspiration for the title. The journaling reads:" I took this picture of you shortly after you started walking on your own. You were so stubborn about walking on your own. You would hold on to the walls even though you knew how to balance yourself. If you ran out of wall to get where you wanted to be, you would just stand there holding on while trying to turn to see who could rescue you or simply plop down to the floor and go with what you knew was sure and that was crawling. I remember coming home from college for the weekend and sitting in the living room, all of a sudden you came walking into the room, no walls or hands, smiling like you knew you were surprising us. I was so happy and proud of you." The safety pins with the beads didn't show up well on the picture.
