This card was inspired by June Card Challenge. I used the sketch (which immediately had me thinking fence), theme (Father's Day), and product (the sentiment block is cork). To create the fence, I embossed some kraft-core paper using a wood-grain folder. Then I sanded to bring out the grain more. Each of the cross-rails are popped up with foam. The Cork sentiment was the easiest part as I did a reverse transfer (printed the sentiment - backwards - onto wax paper and then rubbed it onto the cork). I love how this worked out and it suits my Dad wonderfully as he is so down-to-earth and homey.
