I had crackled the gorgeous base of this older solid wood oval coffee table last fall but could not decide how to finish the top... The Bayberry Clay based paint is beautiful to work with and lasts ages, this is My 4th project. I used a Crackle medium that I bought at Michaels. It works really well if put on in one direction then left to dry, do not fuss with it or the effect will not come through as well, lesson learned.
