Making Christmas Cookies

Jessica and I made some sugar cookies Sunday night and I snagged this photo. Here is a quickie photo edit I did to try to highlight her out of the busy kitchen background. I used my magnetic lasso setting to draw around the front of the image. I fine tuned what I missed or wished to remove using the regular lasso tool and holding the shift( +) or alt (-) key. Then with the background selected ( select menu; inverse ) I played around with filters until I found one I liked. I chose glowing edges as it seems a bit more festive than the rest. I hope I came up with something good lol
