I gotta agree about the masculine elegance. Nicely done! And brown and black just so happen to be one of my favorite color combinations so I find this very pleasing to my eye.
My heritage books are very much like this, Moi. No embellies - a title LO for each "family" has a MM cursive metal initial (super flat) with the loop snipped off and that is the only "embellie" in sight. Otherwise, just lots of mats and paper.
I love it. Very polished looking! 4 pp and still it looks so serene.

Masculine & simple. This is a photo of my late grandfather (born August 1910). I never met him - he passed away when my mom was 5 y/o This page is part of my heritage album to which I'm slooowly adding LO's and genealogy research. All Photos will be Black & White and my rule is to ONLY use acid free, lignin free papers - no other embelishments.
