This past November, Nick Groff from Ghost Adventures (and Jeff Belanger) were having a book signing in Nashua, NH. We are huge fans -- particularly my youngest. Living in southeastern PA, it didn't seem too terribly far to go for a book signing. LOL! The announcement of a 3-day weekend in New England with just "you and me" to go to a book signing by Nick got me lots and lots of hugs and kisses...my son was beyond excited...couldn't believe it was for real. Meeting Nick in and of itself was blowing his mind, but then the whole rest of the trip on top of it was just unbelievable. I figured that if we were going to go that far, we might was well make the most of it! We decided we couldn't head that direction without making a stop in Salem, MA, so we made a quick stop there before jumping up to Nashua, NH. After the book signing on Saturday -- which was just incredible!! -- we bopped around town and played for hours at the Fun Zone. Sunday we headed up to Salem, NH to go to America's Stonehenge, which we found out about from Jeff, (the bottom picture) and from there we scooted up to Maine to climb around Fort McClary (the top pic). It's a great state park about a stone's throw into Maine, but he wanted to be able to say he's at least been to Maine. Heading home was a sad prospect, but the journey itself is half the adventure! (When Nick found out how far we came to see him, he shook my son's hand and gave me a hug!) While I have tons of pics from the trip, I picked just these to make another page in my "mixed-media" book. The New England trip is going to have to be another book all by itself! TFL
