A bit of a long story that tells of how she got sick and her surgery. I like the colors... but the LO needs help

"Duchess sometimes wouldn’t eat, she sometimes puked, and she sometimes just acted like she didn’t feel good. We just thought she had a sensitive stomach. Well, Duchess started throwing up more and then started not eating at all and was getting very sick. We went to her vet, Dr. Morris and she thought Duchess got some bad food or got into something outside; she is a digger and eats the strangest things outside sometimes. We noticed little relief with her medicine, and then when it ran out she got even sicker. So we went back to the vet and they did x-rays that showed she had a narrowing in her stomach not allowing her food to pass through, explaining why she would eat and then get sick about 7 hours later. Our local vet couldn’t do the endoscopy so we had to go to the Metzger Animal Hospital in State College about two and a half hours away. The day before her appointment I came home from work in the morning to find blood where she had been sick. So she had to go emergently to State College a day early. I had just gotten home from a 12 hour shift and Jake was working out of town so Pappy agreed to drive us in. We waited at his house with Duke till Pappy got there. We picked up Grammy at work and headed over. It was a very long day, and I had to go home without Duchess. Dr. Koshko did exploratory surgery and did biopsies. He said there was no narrowing as we thought. The biopsies however came back showing Chronic Gastritis. She spent two nights in the hospital. She wouldn’t eat and they had to hold her and hand feed her to get her started eating… talk about being SPOILED! She was very sore when she came home, she had to be picked up to go up and down the stairs, she took pain medicine, and even wore the dreaded collar to prevent her from licking her big wound on her tummy. She even had to have warm soaks on her belly. Duchess had been in to see Dr. Morris many a few more times after her surgery… she had a swelling and need more antibiotics, we went to Michigan soon after her surgery and she got anxious and sick and wouldn’t eat and had to stay at the vets, she ate a whole bag of chocolate chips, and the next day she ate out of the neighbors fire pit and got very sick. She was sore for about 2 weeks. She has since … knock on wood… knock, knock, knock… been good. She eats prescription dog food and takes her medicine twice a day and is doing well!!! "
