On this page I took 1x1 inch scraps of my firework pictures and lined the top border. I wrapped the two mm metal stars with wire and the middles star I wrapped with both red and blue wire, then used funky fiber to attach it through the eyelet hole. The journal box is made of cardstock with star brads to embellish.
The journal box reads, "...Once the display began, I entertained the crowd around us with my oohs and ahhs. I cheered and yelled louder than anyone. Every firework that was launched, I would announce, "That's my favorite. No, that's my favorite." By the time we got home, Allie and Trey were sound asleep, but I was still wide-awake hoping to catch one more glimpse of even a sparkler.
I wish you could see the picture of the boys better. The looks on their faces is priceless. I began taking pictures right at the beginning of the display. I knew the facial expressions would be best in the first few minutes, but I had no idea they would be this good.
