I like scrapping everything too. It tells the WHOLE story. LOL about about spelling "perfect" wrong--totally awesome that you didn't change it. Life is not perfict. ;) Great job!
This is for the first Scrap Naked Blog Challenge (http://scrapingnaked.blogspot.com/) For the challenge we had to explain why we "scrap naked" or, in other words, why do we scrap our true selves; things about ourselves that might not be pretty.
Journaling reads: "I don't have kids. In fact, I will never have kids. So why do I scrap? Why do I bother preserving my story? The reason is rather selfish really. I scrap to help me figure out who I am. Scraping for me is self discovery. I scrap the stuff most people keep quiet about because all these things-the good AND the bad make me who I am. Maybe one day Aubrey or Teagan or Steph's future kids will want to know about me. Which would they rather read about? My trip to Europe or who their Aunt Tracy was before she got old and crazy? I hope they would like to know about me as a person. My thoughts and feelings, rather than the places I've been. Maybe by seeing that I'm not perfict they'll see that they don't have to be either. It's the differences that make us who we are. I'm celebrating mine."
NOTE: I know I spelled "perfict" wrong. Once I noticed it, it didn't seem right to change it.
