LOL!!!! I TOTALLY UNDERSTAND! I have done a lot of moving in my day, I once drove a 27 footer through a blizzard, and we moved through tornadoes two years later. Those trucks are beasts. GREAT capture of the moment.
This LO is about one of the many problems during the terrible moving experience that took place a few weeks ago. And for some reason, this LO was not easy to do. I had to start over once because I glued something down wrong. Then it took me a week to complete because I'm sick again.
Anyway, it's finally done and I LOVE the way it turned out! :D
Journaling reads: "So, it was a 21 foot truck, a 12 foot trailer, and 6 feet of hitch in between. That’s 39 feet Kimber was driving from Berea to Louisville: a two hour drive. But the story didn’t start there.
It started when Kimber went to pick up the trailer in Richmond, in the truck, which was full of all her stuff. The truck, it turned out, was too small so she had to get the trailer while the truck was full. On her way there, she had to turn around for some reason, and well, backed the truck into a ditch.
From the ditch she called U-Haul and said in a small, sad voice: “I’m in a hole.” But it all turned out okay since the hole she was in was near a truck stop and some nice, local truckers came and pulled her, or rather, the truck, out."
