I love the bunnies in their matching squares!! So adorable. I totally understand when a card takes on a life of its own! But you made a cute card and that is all that matters, right?!!
This is absolutely adorable, I knew it was your card!
The basket is truly incredible!!!!
The frames are perfect and the added twine, it's as Carri, beautifully designed ~ my dear friend!
That basketweave background really sets the tone for this card; I think it's perfect. And those framed bunnies are adorable with the bright frames and dot background. This is a gorgeous card and I absolutely love that Happy Easter is in different color card stock. Beautifully designed LC.
This is the most adorable card. I love how you framed each little bunny in the color of his shirt. Always such attention to detail in your cards. I studied and studied trying to see how you wove that background, then read that it is an embossing folder. It is fabulous. I can't believe how realistic it looks. I love the little pastel polka dots for the backing on the frames and for the first layer of the card face. Making double mats behind it adds so much class to your cards. The twine is a great addition and I love the little heart you added on the bow. The letters that size fit the space perfectly. I think this card is totally amazing!
Such a sweet, sweet card! I love how the bunnies are peeking out from the frames you created. Love the basket weave embossing folder, wow! All your bright colors makes for a perfect Easter card!:)
How cute is this! Love those cute little bunnies! You did an awesome job with this card! Loving the basket holding all these cute bunnies-perfect colors and great design!
I started out this card with what I thought was a clear vision for sketch #3 in March's Card Sketch Challenge. Somehow I just couldn't get it to work so I had to make some changes along the way. I feel like it ended up like one of those deconstructed recipes on the Food Network where all of the main ingredients/elements are there but it doesn't quite resemble the original, lol! Regardless, I'm pleased with how it turned out and hope that it will put a smile on a dear friend's face.
I cut small squares using my paper trimmer then used a smaller square die to cut out the center creating a frame. Using foam dots and strips, I attached the frames and bunnies onto pieces of polka dot paper. I embossed a piece of kraft cardstock with one of my new basket weave embossing folders. The sentiment was die cut using my MFT Bottlecap letters.
Your sweet and kind comments always leave a smile on my face! Thank you!
