My attempt at a shabby chic card as a thank you to Marylou (Meggies Nana) for her amazing kindness and generosity in sending me very special happy mail. The papers are from Momenta. I used blue vellum to mat my center stitched square. I made small flowers using my Tim Holtz tattered florals dies with centers from my poinsettia die set by Dee's Distinctively. I inked the petals and centers of the flowers with MFT Pink Lemonade dye ink and brushed them with Nuvo glitter gloss to add some shimmer. I dyed a gem to match the bluish-aqua background using Salty Ocean and Cracked Pistachio Distress inks and adhered it to a metal charm which I tied onto a multi-loop twine bow. I added doilies from my stash, a few pale blue pearls and a die cut butterfly (Memory Box die).
