My Mom loves violets so I just had to buy this beautiful patterned paper from G45 called Violet Vale to make a special card for her. I started by creating my frame using my Samantha die from Creative Expressions by Sue Wilson. I layered several cut out of black then a final plum colored one on top to give the frame some dimension. I made my flowers by spritzing my die cuts with water, gently inking their centers with coordinating Distress Ink, then shaping them and adding jewel centers. I only have the rectangle hemstitch die set, but I wanted to add the hemstitch detailing to the edge of this square card so I used the partial die cutting technique and it worked perfectly.
