The technique category in the October Inspirational Card Challenge was to create handmade flowers, something I really enjoy. This is the first time that I use my Tim Holtz tattered florals die. I wanted to keep the focus on the flower so I kept the rest of the design rather clean.

To make my flower, I die cut two sets of the flower shapes. I spritzed each one with water and then scrunched them tightly, letting them sit and dry for a little bit before carefully opening them back up. I then used my stylus and molding pad to cup and shape each one. I layered all the pieces together affixing each one to the next using Glossy Accents. To finish it off, I brushed the tips of the petals and leaves with Clear Wink of Stella.
