Thank you all so much for the great comments! I really appreciate your taking the time to look at the LO's and making comments :) I love to do hand-cut lettering! I know!! I'm probably one of the ONLY people that does, but I just LOVE the way it looks. *Smiles*
The background patt. paper was trimmed about 1/4 inch all the way around so that it would be offset on the CS base {Bazzill}. On the left page, I hand-cut the title {The Ceremony} with my X-Acto/craft knife. On the left page, I printed the quote "At this place, for a moment, time stood still." on vellum, attached w/brads & mounted on CS. I also wrapped a piece of the ivory satin ribbon around the CS base of the photo, then made/tied a bow out of the same ribbon, and attached it w/glue dots. On the right side, I placed 2 strips of CS, to help give the page a little "color". I offset the wedding handout. The two photos were at the altar during the ceremony. The top photo has 2 strands of dark purple ribbon that matches the dark CS, and placed heart-shaped ribbon slides on them. The top ribbon slide says "Love", and the bottom one says "Cherish". Along the bottom photo, I placed a set of Jolee wedding rings that has a little silver tag that says "I do". Then, I stamped the "Love is..." verse from 1 Corinthians 13, which the couple recited during the service. [I had to redo this several times!! I had initally stamped it in a metallic/silvery platinum, but it kept smearing!! Even AFTER I let it set to dry for several days! So I just gave up on that ink, and re-stamped it in black]. Mounted the quote on a piece of chipboard [Colored the edges dark so you wouldn't see that "card-board-ish" coloring along the edges.] The purple matting is the same purple that I've been using as the page bases throughout the album.
