DD's wedding cake, as she was married in a winery it is sitting on a wine barrel. She chose a mixture of 2 layers 'mud cake' and 1 layer 'orange buttercake', as this also served as dessert with a raspberry coulis and cream, there was also an additional cake for the kitchen so it went around.

With the paper I wend around the flourishes with white Signo Pen, then with pale ble chalk then a tan chalk to help the flourish really pop on the page.

The journal tag is tucked in behind the blue bow and when opened up gives the description of cake. The flowers on cake were fresh hydrangeas the same as her bridesmaids carried.

In Australia it has always been traditional that wedding cakes were rich fruit cakes, but Erin has always disliked them so like a lot of the younger ones now, she chose the combination mentioned above.
