This river divides the World Heritage Listed Hoi An (old town 17th-18th century), with the new on the other side. No cars allowed in the old town, very old and is flooded every October/November so access to the streets by row boat only then. It is a very important port for the area and in ancient times was the sea route to China as it opens into the China Sea. Nowdays it is the focus of festivals and these floating animals in brilliant colours were for a festival we missed by 1 day. Used Cricut Cart Home Accents for flourishes Liquid pearls around the fish at bottom The fish were quilling and one of the few scrapbook embellishments I was able to find while away, as it turned out it was perfect for this page.
