For the Color Challenge #51 over at Paper Craft Planet which was to use ivory, red, brown, and light blue. Not sure who the paper is by, it's from my scraps. I would have to bet either K & Company or Anna Griffin though. The flowers were white and I colored them with a Tiki Hut brown Bic Mark It marker. The one on the bottom got 2 coats so it's just a hint darker. The inside of flower is lace that I sewed with a running stitch and then pulled the stitch to gather it up like petals. The red button wasn't exactly the same shade as pp, a bit too bright, so I toned it down by going over it with the same brown Bic marker and it fixed it! Center button is brown and all tied together with cotton string. The sentiment is a new $1 Michael's stamp I just got this past weekend. The tag is actual shipping tag we were going to throw away at work, so it already had some natural age on it. I distressed all the edges with Ranger Tea Time distress ink and my new handy applicator I made out of regular felt and a wooden block off of a rubber stamp (I'm in the process of unmounting them all, so had these blocks just laying around! Great tip I got from someone over at SCS.). I almost forgot to add something blue, so found this remnant piece of blue/brown ribbon in my ribbon scraps and threw it in there! Thanks for looking at my card!
