I thought this was so cute and clever that I had to try it so, I made it a project for my monthly paper crafting group.

It looks deceptively simple and it's not complicated by any means but there's more to it than is immediately obvious. The technique that intrigued me was to make a solid sheet of inked colors that blend from one color to the next, then die-cut your shapes so they will be arranged on the card to progress in the same order that they were inked on the sheet. For instance, my sheet went from blue to turquoise to green, to yellow, to orange, using Distress Oxide inks and foam blending tools. Then I backed the sheet with Stick-It and die-cut the images so they would blend on the card in the same order the colors blended on the sheet. Cute, I think, and versatile. The technique would work with lots of different shapes. Try it, you'll like it! :)
