This was a fun card to make! I used Tim Holtz Distress Inks to make a blended backgound (see next photo) with the Nuvo blending brushes. I've made blended backgrounds using the blending tools that have the replaceable foam or felt pads at the bottom, but never the brushes. I have to say, I much prefer the brushes for smoother and easier blending, by far.
I cut the black overlay from plain cardstock on my Silhouette Cameo and just layered it over the blended background, which I layered over the white card base. I glued together 3 orange butterflies, added some bling, and punched out a plain white tag that I stamped with a sentiment, using VersaFine Black. Threaded the tag with some flat, metallic gold ribbon.
