Christmas 2000 was a very rough holiday. It was my first Christmas being a Single mom. Looking back I realize it was the BEST Christmas. Christmas Day it began to sleet/snow about 2pm... by dinner everything was covered. Sometime after going to bed that evening our electricity went out. We had to go to Nanas to stay warm because she had gas to run her gas heater and our apartment was all electric. We were without electricity for a week, with no school, no TV, and everything shut down throughout the county I now realize we spent the time playing games and enjoying time together without one complaint. Oh, how I wish I could turn back time even if just for one day so you both could be little again. You both have grown up so fast and I feel like I missed so much~ I am so proud of you both and love you both with all my heart.
