This if for the Flowers Revisited Challenge and the Crazy Embellies Challenge (62 embellishments)... Journaling on pull out tag: I have always fed stray cats, cant help it, I cannot see an animal go hungry..So every night I leave a bowl of cat food out for the local strays (3 of which I have gotten to trust me and have turned into the Humane Society to be adopted into loving homes).. One night I looked out my window to see if anyone was eating and I saw the strangest cat I had ever seen.. He was very bushy, and had a very long tail..still I thought Im glad hes eating he must be hungry..Then as he turned his head and I saw his profile I realized this was no cat!... Holy Moly, its a raccoon!... I tried to shoo him away by banging on the window..he literally looked at me for 2 seconds and then kept eating...no fear.. I started to research raccoons to see what they were all about and read that they "love cat food"..GREAT, once they find food "they will return"..GREAT AGAIN...the last thing we wanted was a raccoon hanging around.. but yet I couldnt stop feeding the strays...sure enough day after day he returned...slowly we have started to spend more time outside while he is here...after about 3 weeks, I decided he needed a name, and settled on GEORGE COONEY...

George, now runs to me when he sees me, tries to drink out of a water bottle, and will knock on my window to let me know he is waiting to be fed.. George has also moved on from cat food and now has his own dish filled with peanuts and grapes..two of his favorites..

We know hes a wild animal, and that we will never be able to pet him or hold him...but we can fill his tummy every night and hopefully stop him from going through someones garbage can looking for food.. LOL
