Wow Vija, this is absolutely BEAUTIFUL. The deep, rich colors suit and your design definitely enhance the beauty of the photo and the ceremony. I love the texture of the background paper too. What a beautiful album you've created. (I had to use two albums for all the pages I did for my DD and SIL's album - but maybe a chest/crate would have been better - LOL). I am sure you will find something suitable - I do like the W R Memory Keepers D-ring albums.
I have really enjoyed your wedding lo's, the story has been really interesting! Love all the rich opulent colors and textures, both in the photos and the lo's you've done. This one is no exception. :-)
Love the rich colours and story behind the photo. Amazing how each culture has their own bits of symbolism. Love it! And keep the wedding layouts coming, we love that you share them with us.
Beautiful Color and Symbolism, I have really enjoyed the wedding layouts and learning about a different culture's wedding ceremony, tfs! I've read in the forums that the D ring albums are good for chunky layouts...
Can I just say WOW!!!! Amazing details!
In regards to an album...have you looked into the We R Memory Keepers 12x12 3 ring albums? They even have pages that you can just slide extra photos into. Just a thought!

Gorgeous, you certainly have managed to create the most beautiful album/s for them and the way you have incorporated the colours and Traditions is really outstanding!!
WOW - Vija - this is such a gorgeous page - those Marakesh papers are so perfect for this wedding. I love the symbolism in a Hindu wedding and the wedding garments are amazing . . . but, back to your LO - I love the chipboard circle you put around the photo - it perfectly reflects the symbolism in the photo. I love your fussy cutting, the flowers and the elephant. This goes in my FAVE's for sure.
Wow Vija those Marrakesh pps are just fabulous for your wedding los, and you have scrapped them beautifully. The colours are so rich and like the garments your ds and ddil are wearing. Love the framing also. Nice to have you back and hope you had a great holiday.
I had that DA frame...coloured it...did not like it and it ended up in the garbage! This is an awesome lo...lovely photo, love the colours and your fussy cutting produced some superb embellies!!! The punched framing is beautiful!
wow- this is gorgeous!! Love the colors, what perfect pp!! All of your layouts from your son's wedding have been amazing, Vija! W/this layout as w/all of them- you've really captured the feeling of this amazing wedding. Great touch w/the embossing & wow- all your fussy cutting!! Your son & DIL will treasure these album(s)!!
Haven't got back into scrapping yet, this layout was completed before we went on our vacation. I didn't think I had scrapped that many photos from my son and daughter in laws wedding but I have already managed to fill up two albums because most of the layouts have been very bulky. Not sure what to do about that problem. I don't really want to present them with a shipping crate full of albums. If anyone knows of a really good album that will take LOTS of bulky pages please let me know!
In this layout the groom and bride are joined together in a sacred knot as a symbol of their permanent bonding and the couple walk round the fire seven times, the bride leading for the first three times and then the groom leads for the remaining four.
