I created this layout to commemorate ANZAC day which is a day of remembrance here in Australia as well as New Zealand, to honour our service men and women. Originally 25 April every year was to honour the members of the Australian and New Zealand Army Corps (ANZAC) who fought at Gallipoli during World War I.
The Allied casualties included 21,255 from the United Kingdom, an estimated 10,000 dead soldiers from France, 8,709 from Australia, 2,721 from New Zealand, and 1,358 from British India.
It has been a life long dream of my DH to visits the war sites and cemeteries at Gallipoli and in particular find and photograph the headstones of family members who perished in the war from his small home town so they can be documented and more importantly shared with family that will never be able to visit their loved ones graves. We made the journey in 2012 to Gallipoli in Turkey and it will be one that neither one of us will ever forget.

I'm not comfortable with being intentionally 'messy' in my scrapbooking but I still like giving different styles a go and this is my attempt to be a bit more 'creative'. I even went as far as making some of the flowers! LOL

TFL and I appreciate any comments that are left.
