This makes me want a cat again (my own hubby would want to kick it for a field goal though). I agree with Tiff, as a recuperating add-queen myself...you have the thirds placement down and it's great as-is. Perfect use of bling to showcase the cat.
This is a great layout!! The photo placement is great...love the bling and the journaling...I do not think that it needs the ink...I think that it looks great as it is!!
Photo placement is awesome and colors are awesome. Pictures are hilarious and journaling is great.
I lovelovelove the bling or brads around the kitty :) Bren you rocked it.
I am in love! First-off I love how simple and clutter free this is! Love how you put the journaling below the pics to the left and the title above to the right. It creates such a delightful balance. Oh and let's not miss the bling around luna's face. It's such a subtle way of letting us know that she is the one the title is referring to. AWESOME job girl!
Brenda, this is a favorite hands-down! I love the moment that it captures and the sweetness of all of you guys piled on top of each other! It reminds me of the children's book by Don and Audrey Woods, "The Napping House". Fabulous!!!!!!!!!!!! I love everything about this. DON'T YOU DARE CHANGE A THING! I mean it. Don't ink. Don't add. Nothing. You are only a day away and I will come up there and make you put it back. Don't test me! Love love love! In fact, gonna go curl up in honor of the sleepytime that has been so beautifully presented before me.
This is awesome! Love the simplicity & placement. I'm usually not a big fan of a lot of the white space (or in this case, cream space) that occurs in some clean & simple LOs (just a personal preference) but this is an example of a LO & subject in which such space enhances the overall effect & idea. Love how the bling around Luna highlights the fact that it is SHE w/ the magic sleepy powers! That dragonfly scrap is purrrrfect for the title background. Rub-on rocks, glad you like it & great to see it in action! Love the relaxing colors, wish I could see them in the bling. This is fabulous as is, all I can do is sit back n admire it. BTW, I have a little mini book planned of just napping pics of DH & I but we're solo in the pics; that this photo of all of you sleeping together exists is just too priceless!
Very cool Lo! Love the photo placement, the bling and the journaling. Oh and the rub on is an awesome touch. I love your placement of the title also, it looks great where it is. I agree and think this is great as is, no inking necessary this time.
This is very cute. I love the bling around luna.. very great idea. The photo placement is awesome, and I love your title. I really like how clean and simple it is.. and would not ink anything just to keep it this way. I love it the way it is
This is for the SHCG Week #24 WC which was to create a lo to enter in the Funny category of the Lucky 7 Contest. The cs is actually cream-colored, but it scanned as white. Also, you can't tell from the scan, but the bling are alternating colors of green, blue, and silver. This is my first time using a rub-on--part of a fabulous present from the fabulous Sharon (blushpea). Thank you, dahling! The dragonfly pp is a scrap piece I retrieved from a heap in my scraps box. The journaling reads: Home from a long day at work. You needed rest before the gym & said my weight on top of you felt good. But, when Luna decided to join us, we were done for. Our sister snapped evidence of Luna's sleepy powers!" March 2007
