Nice job--I love the little ribbon tabs. And you are really drawn to their pic by the white int he bg of the photo--great job Linda!! Love writing their conversations down--that is so what scrapping is all about.
I Love this...it is has such clean lines and great colors, yet really express a lot of "personality" as you say. My husband is a photographer and a few years back we were fortunate to shoot my grandparents 50th wedding anniversary pictures and all my grandfather could keep saying was "I love you so much" to keep my Granny smiling...so there really is so much still to talk about after 50 years (and then some)! Great Layout!
My parents are celebrating their 50th anniversary this year. While this LO appears to honor them as a couple, it also records their (and my) personalities in the hidden journaling. For the journaling tag, I created a pocket behind the photo. The tag itself is topped with various ribbons. I titled the tag "After 50 years, what in the WORLD do you have to talk about?" I then used Maya Road journaling acrylic stamps to create small journaling boxes on the tag where I wrote what I typically hear them say to each other. I read the tag to my Mom, and she and I had a good laugh. She asked if I'd recorded them talking in order to get it so "on-the-mark".
