This is fantastic. What a great idea to compile all of this together. I really must try that. Our ds went through the nightmare stage too...enough to drive you nuts and then suddenly it stops. Go figure. Love the lo!
AWESOME every day I say I will do these pages and then I move on.. but our kids are so simi;ar it's weird LOL I could just copy and paste yours LOL (but I won't ;) hehe) LOVE LOVE paper one of my new all time favs! and the barcode frame looks soooo cool with the way you played with it!
okay...with ds just having celebrated his 7th birthday and the LO waiting here ready to write, you and Leah have given me so many writing ideas....thank you!

JOURNALING: This is you at age 6... almost 7. You love your X-Box and very quickly went from playing Football and Golf games to Star Wars, and now even Wrestling. You just got your own IPod, but the only music it has on it is P.O.D. becuase that's about the only music you like. Your intake of chocolate milk surpasses all of us, coming in at around 4-5 cups a day, just ahead of me. Your menu is finally starting to branch out from Chef-Boy-R-D to things like Hot Wings, Roasted Chicken, and even mashed potatoes and sweet peas. You're not a big sweets eater... you might have an occasional candy bar, but it's not often. You will choose water over Coke to drink any day of the week. You are a slave to time. You have your own alarm that you wake up to and pulls you out of bed at 5:59 am, even though you don't have to be at school until 9:00. You work well with time limits and your watch and alarm clock have to be perfectly in sync with the cable box since that always has the correct time. You play with Rodney and Khari next door on a daily basis, although you will say in a second flat that your best friend is your cousin, Jared. You push Alyssa on the swing out back and let her rummage through your room while you're playing your X-Box... and you happily comply with only watching “2-year-old-friendly shows” rule when she's in the living room. You've all but grown out of the “nightmare” phase and will usually just tell me the day after that you had a bad dream. You're a big help with Layla and love to take her oustide. You are really good in Math and Spelling. and you're getting better with your handwriting. You love to lounge on the couch on Saturday mornings and watch TV in your pj's. You hate the sound of that material that is used on all the lunch boxes and backpacks... it literally gives you chills. You get $3 a week in allowance, and it literlly burns a hole in your pocket until you spend it... which is usually by the next day at the latest. You can't sit in the house very long before getting a touch of cabin fever and you HAVE to release it somewhere. Rainy days can be rough sometimes. You're very shy and we've really had to work with you to get you to respond (even with just 2 or 3 words) when someone says “Nice to meet you.” You're not a big fan of cleaning and unless I give you a time limit, it will take you 3 hours to clean your room. You still get excited about “Mommy + Gage” days when you're home and Alyssa has Mother's Day Out. I do to. I have a very soft heart for you and I think you know it and sometimes even abuse it a bit. But that's ok.
