Wow K this is fantastic. Cutting out subjects can be tricky - but your's look great. If you want to feather the edges a little, just ctl click the layer (this will select what's in it), then click selection feather and put in a value of about 2 - you can experiment with this part, then choose selection and invert selection. Press delete as many times as you want to get the look you're going for.

awesome job! cs2 has much to learn but i hear once you get the hang of it - its got SOOOOO much to offer - you'll be a natural soon enough & in the meantime - what you are learning is SO great to see - i think you did a GREAT job on cutting your pic out!!! and I love the white space here too!

Just Me...again

Don't ask me what these Just Me titles are. This is the second lo that I have used this but seems to fit so well with me. I got CS2 and I am so excited about it and have not completely converted over yet as I have SOOO much to learn. I ordered some books on Amazon so hopefully will get them this week so that I can learn more. I learned how to cut my pic out and then I blurred it a bit but not happy with it exactly because it is not blended well at all. So...if anyone knows how to cut out and blend real good I would love to have some instructions. Believe me, I know it is not at all completed the correct way but this is my first attempt at trying to figure this complicated program out. I did do everything else in Lumapix because I don't even know how to do a page yet in CS2. So any hints or suggestions are so welcome. I will be ever so grateful. Journaling reads: I want to be the best daughter. I want to be the best sister. I want to be the best aunt. I want to be the best girlfriend. I want to be the best teacher and I want to be the best friend. This is what I want. This is just me....'08
