We visited Mrs. Warren, your old pre-k teacher, on one of your school holidays and I mentioned to her that you were now reading. She enthusiastically asked you to come in sometime to read to her class. You could not wait and insisted on doing it that day when we picked up Sam from school. So we went home and you excitedly prepared your “lesson plan”. You wanted to read Brown Bear, Brown Bear, What Do You Hear and Go, Dog, Go; and then do an activity with a spelling flip-book. When we went to the pre-k class, I expected you to be a little nervous, but you sat right down confidently and read your books, showing the class the pictures on each page after you read them. At one point you crossed your legs and looked like such a little man. Finally, you pulled out your flip-book, demonstrated how it works, and asked for volunteers. Little Teacher Man, I was so impressed by your confidence that day, and Mrs. Warren told you you could come back anytime to read to her class again.
