SHCG: Very nice LO. I like the subtles tones with pops of white and confetti-like bits of color. I think more circles on the upper left might add more balance. What a smile :)
SHCG - Aww what a sweet page about a sweet boy's bday! I love these photos & the refreshing color scheme. I like the colorful circles but could see you adding another line of them in the lower left, just for maybe a third of the page, to balance out the other circle-lines on the page.
SHCG: My first thought was... what a refreshing birthday page that isn't all about the cake and presents. There is something about the wording that just threw me. Because this is digital, I would like to suggest "This is how a 6 year old boy looks like! October 9th 2010, a happy day filled with smiles, gifts, and cake. Happy Birthday, Ethan!" Birthday should probably be capitalized, then the comma, then the space.
SHCG: this is so sweet!~ i love Ethan's smile :) love the writing on the photo! i love amms suggestion to continue the white circles up the layout, that would be great!!!
SHCG: I really like the suggeston of adding more of the white circles in your background to the top left of the large photo, it will help tie all the photos together better. Those are great photos and i love how those bright circles match his shirt.
SHCG: He is adorable, I love that smile!. I do feel that all the attention is drawn towards that smiling photo with the journaling on the letter and the happy birthday below. At first I was a bit thrown off as to the reason for the multi-colored dots and then I caught his shirt in one of the photos. I am not seeing anything draw all the pics together, especially the lower left pic. Maybe lower the bottom pic a bit an move the Happy Birthday between the 2 pics on the left with a slight overlap onto the smiling picture would help tie the pics together.
SHCG: Again, I'm liking the blue/orange pairing. I was just about to type my suggestion when I glanced at Jesse's and noticed I have a similar critique. I like the placement of the photos, and am resisting the urge to recommend you making a photo block, so I got to thinking that another one of those white circles in your bg would do a good job of uniting the top smaller photo with the larger one without having to move the smaller photo at all, and since the bottom photo is already united with the larger one in this way. A different idea I had and am curious about, is to move your journaling so that it overlaps that top smaller photo and reaches across to the large one. I love the first line of your journaling and Ethan's adorable face in each shot.
SHCG: I really like the bg and how you put the journalling on the picture. It seems a little disjointed to me though; I'd try pulling the smaller two pictures in closer to the bigger one so the overlap a bit. I'd also like to see Happy Birthday in a bolder font; it's getting a bit lost over the white swirls. He definitely looks like one happy boy!
shcg: Ethan's a way cute kiddo! I like how the beaded lines pick up the orange color in the top left photo. I feel like something is missing, but I'm not sure what it is. Fab pictures!
