"really backed up".......oh my I laughed out loud at that! I always keep my external hd unplugged. Don't want to accidentaly corrupt it. I've never had this happen, thankfully.

Mine does this too...not quite that bad, but still!! I'm not even sure how to fix it, I simply go in and delete, delete, delete!!
