My nephew is turning 13! No more kiddie birthday cards--he's got to get cool cards now. :D
I Copic colored James from The Greeting Farm's Creeper Crew collection and created a layered card.
The base background is a patterned paper that I've had in my scrap box for so long that I have no idea where it's from. I thought the brick pattern gave this card an urban feel. The next layer up I used an old stand-by Tim Holtz rays stencil and Distress Oxide Inks to give a pop of color to coordinate with the colors I used on the little boy.
Then for embellishments, I used some midnight blue bakers twine, some Jillibean Soup Birthday Bisque stickers from 2014, and some blue bling gems for sparkle.
