I love the whimsical odd little monkey from the Katzelkraft Jungle Animal Stamp Set. I used it and a doily stamp to create this CAS card for a friend who is trying to find a new, innovative solution to a problem. He is trying something scary, new and challenging, and I wanted to send him this card to let him know I am thinking of him and rooting for him.
I stamped out the monkey onto Bristol Paper using VersFine Ink and then used Tim Holtz Distress Markers to ink up the doily stamp around his head to create a halo/aura. Lastly, I used a waterbrush to soften the halo and extend some points and add some dots as well. The whole thing is colored only with Distress Markers, is a single layer card, and will be a snap to mail!
