I made this mixed media fairy house/hut by recycling a cardboard box. I first used gesso to harden the cardboard, than I used some stencils and texture paste to give some texture and dimension. Than I painted it using Heidi Swapp's distress paint kits. Then I applied some glimmer mist to give it some magical shine. I also glazed it with some Decoart metallic Lustre. Finally I added flowers, moss and leaves, bird, and some Tim Holtz locks at the doors. I also used some glossy accents in the fountain for some water effect.
