Oh my gosh...one word....stunning. You have captured the essence of winter so well. Just looking at your layout makes me cold! LOL! Reminds me of snowmobile excursions in Alaska. Love what you did on the left side with the fiber and skis. Super stitching. Did I mention I think this is amazing???
Five of five oversized photographs to complete the series. I played with some Dylusions spray inks after using different mediums for snowflakes. I loved the deep velvety result and knew I'd use the two together. It posed a challenge to make velvet go with snow, but I saw some cotton batting from a pill bottle and had inspiration. The cotton (tucked in corners of LO four and diecut in LO three) the ribbons (in LO one) the bling (LO's two, three and four) all entwined in a worry knot brought the texture I wanted. The stitching on the black boarder mat softened the solid color and accented the distressing of the "velvet" piece.
