This photo is of my great aunt and uncle at their 50th wedding anniversary party a few years ago. It's hard to tell from the photo but the big heart is a deep fuschia color but I find the photo makes it look red. This lo is for the following challenges:
1. July Scraplift the Person Before You - This month I had the pleasure of lifting madmatter. There were a few I kept debating between but I finally decided on her lo called "Hearts" as seen here: http://www.scrapbook.com/galleries/344143/view/3126845/-1/1.html I was really inspired by the big heart in her lo. I changed it up a bit and straightened the heart and moved it more towards the side. I also added the border under the heart instead of on the side so I had room for my title block. Thanks for the inspiration madmatter!
2. July Doodle Challenge - I did the twist and doodled flourishes in the upper right hand corner of my photo. They're not the best but I'm sure they could be much worst! LOL
3. July Lyric Challenge - This month you had to use a song title from the movie Grease. I chose "Love is a Many Splendored Thing". Although, there are several more song titles I'd like to use so I may end up doing another lo too! LOL
