1. August's Scraplift the Person Before You - This month I had the pleasure of lifting Taeklund. After much debating I finally decided on her lo titled "Follow Your Dream to the End of the Rainbow"(http://www.scrapbook.com/galleries/36538/view/1627797/-1/240/1.html). I've admired lo's designed like this for years now and always said I would never ever have the patience to do it myself. But as I looked through Taeklund's gallery I kept coming back to the same lo so I decided to do it. I seriously was thinking I'd lost my mind when I started out! LOL But I'm so glad I did it because I love how it turned out! Thanks so very much for the inspiration Taeklund!! :)
This really came out wonderfully. I always love these types of LO's too, but I haven't had the right pic or the courage to try it yet -- really great job!
I love that this is the layout you chose to lift because I am presently working on a lift of it myself using a picture of my second daughter with the same quote! Great job on the lift! Isn't it amazing how heavy the layout is with all those embellishments on there!
