Oh how super! I love to make jellies and jams, even freezing the fruit for a treat in the winter. You are so lucky to have them in your yard. I think the LO is remarkable. The photos are superb. TFS
SUPPLIES: Paper: Provo Craft (Scrap Pads - Tuscany) Cardstock: Bazzill Basics Crystal Lacquer: Sakura Pop Dots: EK Success Wine Bottle Die Cuts: QuicKutz Acrylic Paint: DecoArt Labels: Dymo Artificial Leaves: Darice Foam Stamps: Making Memories Font: Harrington (Internet) Ink: Stazon
FUN TIP: I cut out the bunches of grapes from one of the sheets of paper, applied pop-dots to the back and applied three coats of Crystal Lacquer to the grapes to give them a more 3-dimentional look.
I adhered the leaves to the back of the journaling so you can pull the journaling out from behind the photo.
JOURNALING: "Who knew? When we moved into our home, it was December 2001. I was due with Ashley that month so I didn't really venture out very often, not even into my own back yard. In September 2002, I was amazed to see that the ugly, old wooden posts donned with chicken wire out near the shed in the back yard were much, much more than that! To my astonishment, the entire structure was covered with grapes! I've never been one to be domestic but the fact that these plump, juicy vines of fruit were available at the ready truly made me want to learn how to can jelly or make wine or something to that effect. So far, a couple of years have passed and the only productive thing I've done up to this point is take these lovely photographs of our nifty little treasure. Ed keeps talking about taking it down but I won't let him. Even if I never do a thing with them, the knowledge that they're in my back yard gives me just a tiny ping of domestication in my heart ... and one day, I MAY just act on that but until then, I'll happily admire this lovely sight every September."
