Journaling reads: I must confess I completely dislike-more like deplore-laundry! It is cumbersome, time consuming, and never ending! Who would like it? Despite the utter contempt I have for such a task…a motherly task, I experience this sweet contradiction each week: pink laundry! I am tickled PINK over the fact that Katelyn, now nine years old, has ended this (painful to me) self-imposed ban on the color pink. Growing up too quickly, she declared, at the age of seven that pink was out and she just did not like it at all! Black and blue were in, and my head was reeling! But alas, she actually loves pink clothing for the moment! It is like having a sweet baby girl in the house again. I just adore pink and most of all, the joy I feel having an entire load of sweet, contradictory, pink laundry to wash!
