Nice warm colors, textures, and pps. It breathes "comfy" like grandma's. I like how the focal picture is in color, accentuated by the photojournalistic b/ws below. (I don't think I've ever done that, and might have to try it.) Cute pull tag, too.
This is for the Thanksgiving in December challege. Yes, these pics are a year old! But better late then never. I love these pics of my Grandma cooking, and those are my cousins in the other pic.
The hidden journaling reads: I always look forward to Thanksgiving. Our family usually celebrates turkey day at Grandma's house with a BIG lunch. Turkey, mashed potatoes, squash, green bean casserole, rolls, pie...the list goes on and on! But as much as I look forward to the delicious food; I look forward to being able to spend some time with my family. It's rare that we get together as one big group, so when we do I cherish the time. In such a busy world, it's nice to slow down with some home-cooked food and just chat with people that you may only get to see a few times a year. (over) The person that I think of first when I think of Thanksgiving is my Grandma. Growing up, I have spent a lot of time with her. I didn't think she was a 'normal' Grandma because I don't remember being showered in kisses and hugs. As I get older I am starting to realize that she really lovers her family and wishes only the best for them. This Thanksgiving I am giving thanks for all of my family members; especially my Grandma!! P.S. Grandma, if you're reading this, I know you probably hare these pictures of you. But I absolutely love them!
This is only the 2nd time I've used BasicGrey paper and I wasn't sure what to use them for. But I think that these colors are very 'Fall' to me!! TFL!!!!!
Also can anyone tell me who makes the phrase rub ons that I used?? Thanks!
