OK, so I said no digital scrapbooking because I work in an office with a computer all day (planning and landscape architecture), and this hobby was going to get me out from in front of that screen. But I've been secretly buying digital kits (mostly because I am a scrap supply addict) but also because I love designing on the computer and the endless flexibility it provides.
So anyway, here’s the first digital page. I do like how quickly they can be done, how you can make any element whatever color or size you need, and of course how you can abuse that really fabulous “undo” key. But must admit, when this page is printed, I will not prefer it over the textural qualities and dimensions you get in paper scrapbooking. But I think if I printed this on bazzill and then added some paper based scrapbooking embellishments (flowers, brads and dew drops (love them!)) it could be a nice blend. I’ll probably play around with that and post something next week. Anyway, I think I may be heading to the paper-digi hybrid zone.
