HOw adorable!!! I should do the same between my 4 year old and 2 year old! It's mostly screaming, but occasionally a conversation occurs that sounds like a foreign tongue!
Skyler and his cousin, Jake, having a typical 'conversation'. I really need to tape record them one of these days. They totally crack me up! :)
Journaling reads: JAKE: No, no, my spidy ya broke. SKYLER: Spidy, Jake? JAKE: Ya spidy broke. SKYLER: Buy more, Jake? JAKE: Ya big one ya broke. SKYLER: Broke, Jake? JAKE: Ya all night uh. SKYLER: All night, Jake? JAKE: Ya spidy broke. SKYLER: Ohhhh, Jacob.
Oh my goodness, it is so fun listening to the two of you have a conversation. It almost sounds like you guys are speaking a different language but somehow you manage to understand each other. Today, the topic of conversation was Jake's broken Spiderman. You seemed very concerned about the whole thing and listened very intently to Jake's story. I love that I get to hear conversations like this a dozen times a day and that you guys get to spend so much time together. And by the way, the sweet little way you call him 'Jacob' gets me every time.
