Wrote my first novel at 41. The whole process from.writing the book to getting it published and in bookstores has been one of the most fulfilling experiences of my life. I tried to capture that vampire paranormal feel with the black felt textured paper, red ribbon, with pictures of the book cover, the books on the shelf at Books-A-Million, and me at one of my first book signings.
