I remember the Christmas Dad made me this dolls house.
It was made from the huge box our old TV set came in, and covered in scraps of wallpaper from my bedroom at the time.
I kept the dolls house from the time I got it, which was around the age of four until I grew out of it and it was eventually dumped and burned in one of our annual rubbish fires when I was ten or eleven years old.
I'm not sure what happened to all the dolls that lived in the house; the only ones I know we still have now, in 2008, are the red Russian nesting dolls which are on our living room windowsill.
They're still pretty much the same as they were here, aside from the outer one being a bit faded from being in the sun!
