Love this layout!! I have not been brave enough to try the sandpaper so I know exactly what you mean. This LO makes me want to run home and try it. Great job!!
LOL! I don't 'celebrate' Halloweeen...I just love to Celebrate, Decorate, and have FUN! I too find carving a pumpin a blast! I've made happy faces on mine, with 3 on the porch with them, that say: Jesus-Loves-You! With one of those words on each of the carved word 3!
I give out candy, with little cute gospel tracts, and my girls when they were young, went door to door with an adult with them, and got candy & gave the people a cute little tract too, about Jesus' Love for them!
I felt why not make the best of the opportunity What other day did peole send thier children to my door to accpet whatever I gave them? And the same with the girls going door to door & giving them out!
My goal, it to make a Jesus/Knight with a sword, going right through a dragon, and have THAT be my Halloween decoration outside!! LOL!
You did an amazing job on carving that pumpkin, and these pics are wonderful! I really like the sequence of events you were able to show, and then the photos hanging underneath are just the perfect touches. Fantastic lo!
Just a simple LO of a simple jack-o-lantern. We really don't 'celebrate' halloween, but I had never carved a pumpkin and thought it would be fun. DH took some pictures...so here they are.
This is the first time I've been brave enough to sand my Pictures! and I love it!!
