SHCG: How much fun is this? I'll be there in a couple of hours, get the beers ready! I love the colors and since you and I are normally on the same page with composition, I'm loving that. The only thing... I love your journaling. You got the writing gene girlfriend! I want some journaling here. I'd like you to take that text box where you have the equation 1 brother, 1 sister, 1 mom and use that as the first line of your journaling and type it out sister-girl. Tell about the beers, tell about the debauchery, tell about the fun. I only crave it from you because I know you got it in you, ya' know? Then, take a white pen and do three little dots or leaves or mimic the pattern paper at the top left with the squares/circles. Put them at the bottom left going horizontally. After that, I'm all good! I love this! SO MUCH FUN!
SHCG: You know I love the leaf paper on this page. It is what really captured my attention about this page. The colors you used are a lot of fun and realized you almost had to use those bright colors becaue of the colors in your mother-in-laws shirt. Any other colors would have clashed with her shirt. I do think the font for your equation is a little large and ends up be being more noticable than the title. I also think you need a little white on the opposite side of this page from the leaf paper. Maybe three brads running vertically under the corner of the circled patterned paper.
SHCG: I love the title letters. I think I would have trimmed the leaf pp a bit so that the over lap of the paper would match the overlap of the circle paper. It seems so close to the yellow paper and the circle paper has a tad more to it's overlap. I also would have trimmed it so that the title letter did not overlap on the bottom as it does not on the top.
I love all the pp! If I were to change anything I would add more white to blend with the super cute leaf pp. Perhaps white photo mats, and a few white brads under the lower title to the right side. Very cute!
SHCG: Love your layering and colors in this LO. I must admit that I am not fond of that white pp with the leaves. To me it seemed too white. I might have considered using the same pp in that space as you did in the top right
SHCG: I love the affection you captured among the three in these photos. I was wondering what Cricut font you used, but I realized that those were Thickers. I like your colors and patterns, and I see that you used the complementary red and green. I also like all the layering. I feel that the capital letters need more oomph--either a shadow or a circle mat. The top title appears completely on the green strip, while the bottom title overlaps onto the pp, so it might look more consistent if the top title bled off into the top left corner, as well.
SHCG - Fantastic colors & pp going on here, love how you layered it all. You convey such a fun & loving feeling here! Cool to see the Cricut in action! Now, I just read Jess' comment & I am wondering how the photos would've looked touching, w/ one big pp matte around it. I also LOVE your LO description ("a night with Hubby, his sister and his mom and several beers. Good times! ") & would be thrilled if a tiny journaling strip along the photos was added saying that (maybe vertically along the outer right edge of the photos so it's out of the way?). Overall, great job, what a blast you all look like you were having!
SHCG: I love all of the colors here, especially how they all tie together so nicely. Love the paper layering (you know I"m definitely a big fan!) and I like the space between the photos. I argued with myself on whether they'd look better together, but i've decided i like them the way they are. Glad to see you're putting George Jr. to good use!! Love the little green strips the title's on. really wouldn't change anything at all.
