For the NSD All Day Challenge- Why do you scrapbook?
Journaling says: I do not know who the lady in this photo is. I found her in an ancient, crumbling album in my mother's keepsakes. I do not know her story.. I do not know how her life is connected to mine. I think we are related--same light eyes, same unruly hair. If so, her life lives on in me. What else did we share? Did she like to sing? Did she have a big family? What were her dreams? Did they come true? How I wish I knew! My grandchildren and their grandchildren will not have to wonder about me. Because I scrapbook, they will know my story and how my life is woven with theirs. My life will live on- in their hearts.
