This lo was inspired by a lo I saw in the book Designing With Simplicity.
The journaling says:
You’re getting so big so fast. Today you started preschool. You have been talking excitedly about it for weeks now but when the time finally came, you did not want to go! After plenty of coaxing from Mom you agreed to check it out, but only if I promised to hold your hand and not leave you. I admit I was a bit worried, knowing we would likely have to separate. I could tell you were nervous on the drive there, but I knew it was important for you to take this step. When we arrived you just peeked in the door then jumped into my arms, literally shaking with fear. We stood and watched the other kids for about 10 mins. until you felt comfortable enough to play. Oh what fun you had painting, singing, dancing, doing puzzles, blowing and popping bubbles and playing with others kids your age. Hooray for you my lil sweetie, and your newfound independence!
